Kick off the month of July with an evening of spectacular live music on the library lawn! We are thrilled to welcome acclaimed local pianist and educator Dean Altstaetter for an outdoor summer concert that promises to delight music lovers of all generations.
Performing under his well-known moniker Play It Blue, Dean brings decades of classical, jazz, and contemporary training to our community space. From smooth jazz standards and vibrant swing melodies to timeless classic rock hits, soulful rhythm & blues, and a few familiar show tunes, his expansive repertoire truly has something for everyone.
About the Artist:
Dean Altstaetter is a heavily active force in the regional music scene, performing with ensembles like the Hipnotix, the Lima Symphony Orchestra Jazz Trio, and his own Jazz Blue Trio. Known for his engaging stage presence and mastery of improvisation, Dean has shared his passion for music across the Midwest and right here at home in Northwest Ohio.
