Unearth the secrets of the ancient past!
Join local artist and history enthusiast Andy Steingass for a hands-on archaeological adventure right here at the library. Young explorers will become real pathfinders as they excavate "fossils" from clay and dig for "ancient" pottery fragments.
The discovery doesn't stop there! Participants will get creative by making their own press-mold castings of dinosaur footprints to take home and using stamps to write their names in hieroglyphics on salt dough. It’s a perfect blend of art, history, and science that will capture the imagination of any young adventurer.
Are you ready to dig into history? All materials are provided, but space is limited for this special workshop. Please register in advance to claim your excavation kit!
